Our team in North Liberty currently has an opening for a Logistics Coordinator

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure carrier rates and information are maintained in Transplace
• Responsible for rating LTL, truckload and tank truck orders
• Approve carrier invoices
• Arrange truckload and LTL carriers for inbound, outbound and 3rd party shipments
• Package and create shipping documents for sample requests
• Verify COA’s on inbound deliveries
• Maintain Brenntag fleet license plates, cab cards and IFTA credentials
• Responsible for Container inventory management
• Cross trains and backfills for other Logistics Coordinators

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience :

• 5 + years in logistics
• Experience with all modes of transportation (marine, rail, and trucking)
• Proven supplier management experience
• Second language proficiency a plus
• Capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members and other departments within the organization
• Ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines both as an individual and as a manager
• Understanding of, and the ability to work within, organizational ing structures Direct, Functional and Matrix
• Solid understanding of transportation and warehousing processes
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to comprehend and enforce company policy, corporate directives and infrastructures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
• Comfortable with working in teams and individually
