BreakPoint Labs Hiring for Senior Technical Recruiter Full Time

BreakPoint labs is seeking a highly skilled Application Developer to be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and/or implement software. Primary language is PHP and Python, with Docker container utilization to deploy and manage in a scalable and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
• Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Develop for frontend, middleware, and backend web development.
• Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Participate in development of software user manuals and/or instruction.
• Strong attention to detail and the application of critical thinking/troubleshooting is necessary.
• The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing is required.

Required Experience:

• Five (5) or more years of relevant, technical experience in application development.
• Experience using PHP and Python is desired, with ability to read and update code in various languages such as Ruby, Perl, C++, shell script, etc. desired.
• Proficiency with Linux is required.
• Docker experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with web frameworks, such as Flask or Django preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills are necessary.

Certifications Required: Security+ Continuing Education (CE) [CompTIA] IAT Level II

Security Clearance REQUIRED: Must hold a DoD Top Secret Clearance

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree Area(s) of Study Bachelors in Computer Science or related scientific/technical discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
