Breakout Mentors Hiring for USACO Student Mentor at Remote Full Time

About us

Breakout Mentors is a small business. We are customer-centric, engaging, fun and our goal is to provide personalized computer programming mentoring for kids ages 8 to 14. We provide a depth in programming education not available anywhere else through fun year-round project-based instruction that encourages each student’s creativity.

We’re looking for talented, motivated high school and college age students to mentor the next generation of USACO competitors.

Role

• Part-Time (3-6 hrs/wk)
• Remote

Responsibilities

• Take on two to four students
• Lead weekly or biweekly 90 minute sessions with each of your students
• Commit to and plan for each of your students’ long-term growth

Requirements

• Competitive programming experience (USACO, CodeForces, ICPC, GCJ, etc)
• Strong teaching ability

Preferred Qualifications

• USACO Gold or Platinum Division Qualifier
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience
