Breakout EDU Hiring for Accounting Technician Job at Remote Full Time

The Accounting Technician at Breakout EDU should be a motivated, personable and team player dedicated to helping the back office with accounting needs. The primary focus of the accounting technician will be to handle invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Customer estimates and other basic functions related to accounting. Working closely with our Customer Service team, the Accounting Technician will provide timely invoicing for all outstanding PO’s and reconcile against daily sales reports. The Accounting Technician will also assist our Sales team to make sure estimates are syncing with our opportunities in Salesforce to ensure proper forecasting. The successful candidate will be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks, while maintaining a high level of services and professionalism.

Skill set/Responsibilities:

• Effective organization skills and ability to engage effectively with a remote team.

• A solid understanding of Quickbooks online and understand how to navigate the system.

• Highly effective in the use of Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets, etc)

• An effective collaborator who can work efficiently to build Quickbooks reports for Sales and/or Management

• A problem-solver willing to learn new things related to the job.

• Highly focused on keeping detailed records and ensuring timely reporting of Accounts and invoicing.

• Effectively communicate with team members on issues pertaining to invoicing..

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience as it relates to purchase orders, invoicing, accounts receivable.

• 3-5 years using QuickBooks Online required.

• Salesforce experience preferred

• 5+ years of using spreadsheets in a finance and/or data role.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Proactive, strategic, implementation-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact right away.

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong written and oral communications skills.

• Tenacious and driven to find and solve new problems.

• Meticulous organization around documentation and task management.

• Experience thriving in a remote work environment.

• Use of online tools including Salesforce, G Suite, Slack, Etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
