Position Responsibilities:
As the Digital Marketing Specialist for BFI, you’ll provide support for our franchise system and our corporate stores as outlined below.
· Collaborate closely with the Franchisee and Retail Marketing Specialist to enhance marketing efforts, leveraging their expertise to develop store-specific marketing campaigns, advertising strategies, loyalty programs, and online ordering support.
· Utilize your in-depth knowledge of digital media, online ordering, email marketing, and the loyalty program to drive growth and success for the Breadsmith system.
· Occasional travel requirements – approximately 2-3 trips per year – for conducting market visits to gain valuable insights into different markets.
· Provide comprehensive support for new store openings, including training for the Breadsmith Rewards loyalty program.
· Serve as the primary contact for requests between stores and the loyalty vendor to ensure smooth operations of the Breadsmith Rewards program.
· Offer technical support to stores for the Breadsmith Rewards program, addressing customer-related issues, in-store operations, and promotions.
· Evaluate and determine overall loyalty program updates to enhance the effectiveness of our loyalty initiatives. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategic changes to optimize the Breadsmith Rewards program.
· Leverage Breadsmith Rewards program data and customer engagement insights to develop new automated campaigns for stores, utilizing automation tools to optimize customer communication and drive sales.
· Develop a comprehensive strategy for digital gift card sales and SMS campaigns for Breadsmith Rewards, leveraging customer insights to maximize effectiveness.
· Leverage social media platforms, (primarily Facebook) to maximize engagement on a corporate level, and for the Milwaukee Market stores. This involves creating and curating engaging content, managing social media accounts, analyzing metrics to optimize performance, and staying up to date with the latest social media trends. A working understanding of social media management platforms such as Hootsuite is a bonus.
· Create and execute an effective communication strategy for emailing Breadsmith Rewards program members in the Milwaukee Market, aimed at driving customer retention and incremental sales. This includes developing compelling email content, segmenting the customer base, analyzing email performance metrics, and continuously optimizing the email marketing strategy.
· Handle Breadsmith Rewards billing and invoicing to ensure accuracy, while monitoring the overall cost of the program.
· Enhance the online ordering platform by implementing win back campaigns to re-engage inactive customers and increase sales.
· Provide in-store assistance during peak seasons such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experience.
· Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Operations, and Graphics Department to ensure the effective execution of marketing strategies, maintaining brand consistency and alignment.
· Create and write compelling copy for various purposes such as internal guidance, product descriptions, staff training, system updates, promotions, advertisements, and website content.
· Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the corporate and guest-facing websites are up to date. Having a working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO is a bonus, as it will help maximize the impact of the content.
· Assist with franchise development by contributing to the overall marketing strategy for attracting and targeting new franchisees. This includes identifying target markets, developing targeted messaging, and implementing effective marketing campaigns to attract potential franchisees.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing.
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively advocate for ideas, plans, and priorities.
· Proficiency in digital marketing.
· Effective time management skills with adaptability and flexibility.
· Attention to detail.
· Decisiveness.
· Creativity.
· Resourcefulness (as our stores do not have big marketing budgets).
· Enthusiasm and dedication, as this role may require long hours and travel.
· Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships as a team player within the corporate office and franchisees.

This role is based out of our corporate office, located on Silver Spring Drive, in Whitefish Bay, WI.

Pay: $38,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
