Description & Requirements:

We are looking for a confident and experienced Accounts Receivable to join our team in Sydney office, on a permanent full-time basis. You will report to and work closely with the Bravura’s Global Revenue Manager in a varied role with lots of opportunity to take on responsibility. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment and possess the ability to pick things up quickly.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Processing customer invoices, credit notes, receipts, revenue deferral and accrual journals
  • Revenue recognition
  • Monitoring overdue debts and collection
  • Management of customer records and contracts
  • Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders and responding to queries
  • Assisting with the month/year end closure procedures;
  • Posting journals, General Ledger, Balance Sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Revenue variance analysis and other internal reporting for monthly Board pack
  • Assisting with half-year and year-end reporting and auditing

Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree qualification is essential
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
  • Revenue recognition experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software NetSuite
  • Understanding of customer agreements and implementation of contractual terms
  • Experience in ERP system ‘Workday’ and subscription billing software “Chargebee” will be preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • An exceptional eye for detail and high level of accuracy whilst working within strict timelines
