Brant InStore is Looking for LITHO 2ND PRESSMAN (Afternoons, Nights Print Production) Full Time

2 AFTERNOON SHIFT 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
2 NIGHT SHIFT 11:00 PM – 7:30 am

• POSITIONS – Harris Press
• Monday to Friday
• Effective date: ASAP
• Class 4 2nd: $29.06 / hour as of March 7, 2023 $29.79 / hour plus shift premium

The Skilled Trades Second Pressman will be responsible for:

• Working with Litho Operator, responsible for colour and register.
• Working with and training Litho Feeder.
• Willing to develop an understanding of litho technology and the role of the Skilled Trades Litho Operator in the overall process.
• Any and all other duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three years related experience
• Ability to interpret and comprehend instructions
• Attention to detail and willingness to take initiative
• Capable of problem solving and ability to multi-task
• Self-motivated team player

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Physical bending and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs
• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, and ability to focus.
