The opportunity:
We are on the lookout for two experienced and ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialists to join our dynamic People & Culture team! Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the TA Specialists are responsible for leading the execution of talent acquisition and recruitment activities across our ANZ Retail network! The successful incumbents will work on finding superstars for office based positions too.

The TA Specialist roles would suit people who love building rapport, are meticulously organised, have a high attention to detail and aren’t afraid of a fast pace!

Our support office is currently based in Port Melbourne, however we’re transitioning to a trendy new office located in Cremorne/Richmond in the next couple of months! Nevertheless, we’ve also adopted a hybrid working model for the foreseeable future.

Key duties and responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment of our apparel or footwear retail space – advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, notifying candidates of their application outcomes and drawing up employment contracts.
• Manage and facilitate our high-volume Christmas and “Back to School” recruitment drives. This includes coordination of assessment centres, booking of venues as required, shortlisting hundreds of positions, managing and tracking invitations, presenting to large groups etc!
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders – partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, clarify role requirements and use this information to inform best practices.
• Primarily source talent across the retail space (predominantly management roles), but also find superstars for office based positions across multiple disciplines including customer service, sales, design, digital, marketing, IT, finance etc.
• Use sourcing capability to proactively recruit candidates through a variety of channels including Seek, LinkedIn and our Applicant Tracking System.
• Reporting – Track and report where talent is coming from, time to fill and advertising spend across our network.
• Assist in evolving our employer brand through sharing market insights and support our TA Coordinator with our social media efforts.
• Create an exceptional recruitment experience for candidates, regardless of application outcomes.
• Maintain and update candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure recruitment processes are in line with company policy and approval requirements and fulfil all legislative requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all Right to Work requirements, including visas, with all our new starters.

The skills and experience you offer us:

• Approximately 2 – 3 years of Recruitment experience (agency or internal).
• Experience in high volume recruitment is desireable.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or equivalent is desirable.
• Knowledge of and/or experience with General Retail Award 2020
• Experience in the retail, hospitality or FMCG industries is essential.
