Job Description
Great opportunity to join the credit and collections team, using your strong communication skills and high attention to detail

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive Credit/Collections Coordinator looking to join a global ASX listed blue chip organization and take the next step in your career?

As part of the Finance team, your role will be to follow processes and guidelines to ensure the prompt collection of past invoices from our wide customer base. Based at our Lidcombe office, this role reports directly to the Credit Manager.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Contacting customers to request payments on their overdue invoices
• Documenting all communication with the customers on the system
• Supporting customers with sending copy of invoices, account statements
• Reviewing and resolving matters relating to customer accounts
• Identifying and raising valid disputes on customer accounts
• Investigating any payment discrepancies

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Previous experience in a busy credit collections role
• Strong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people
• A confident telephone manner with the ability to put customers at ease
• Good computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel. Some exposure to SAP would be an advantage
• Exceptional organisation skills and strong attention to detail
• The ability to follow processes and procedures
• Common sense and initiative
