Are you an HR Business Partner/ HR Manager looking for a new challenge of setting up a HR function for a growing business?
BramahHR are recruiting for an HR Manager to join a fantastic company operating in an ever-evolving sector who have huge growth plans. This role will require both home and office working.
Responsibilities:
· In consultation with Team Leaders and Management, determine and plan resource requirements. Assist in the development of a yearly hiring plan.
· Create and adapt Job descriptions
· Create a set of screening criteria for each position.
· Create a general recruitment strategy to find high-potential candidates, assess job abilities, and secure the professional support needed to attract and retain new employees.
· Organise the hiring procedure
· Advertise/coordinate JDs on the internet, LinkedIn, the government’s apprenticeship portal, and through recruitment agencies (as appropriate)
· Organise the HR inbox
· Organise screening activities (written tests, aptitude tests, and a screening form) in accordance with the company’s hiring process.
· Coordinate and schedule applicant interviews.
· Recruitment on campus.
· Determine whether colleges offer apprenticeship and degree programmes as prospective sources of employment.
· Determine which UK government apprenticeship programmes will meet requirements.
· Organise the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
· Create letters of offer and employment contracts
· As part of our screening process, conduct background checks
· Work with Payroll
· Organise grievances and disciplinary actions.
· Provide support for all new starters with relation to onboarding.
· Support the management and supervisor training and development strategy.
· Liaise with relevant external training providers.
· Assist with business succession planning to facilitate a smooth transition.
Skills/ Experience:
· You will ideally hold a Level 5 CIPD qualification or have the equivalent professional experience.
· You will have thorough knowledge of UK employment law and best practises.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills, as well as the ability to operate under pressure and meet several deadlines.
· Ability to comprehend the business’s commercial drivers and the consequences of your decisions and interventions
· Assumes responsibility for providing consistent, pragmatic, and timely advice and delivery solutions that meet the demands of the company.
· Demonstrate tenacity and perseverance in achieving goals and overcoming obstacles.
· Have a strong understanding of what a positive culture looks and feels like.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000.00 per year
