HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $100 – $135/hr
ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week – Long-term

- Strong collaborative experience working with engineers and communication designers/directors, field experts, and thought partners.

The opportunity:
Our client is a pre-launch start-up working in the voluntary carbon market (VCM) industry. To build their platform, they’re looking to collaborate with a product designer to build the company’s product design capabilities from the ground up and work with the existing engineering team to take their platform from an MVP/prototype to a fully functioning, customer-centric experience.
Responsibilities
- Build our client’s product design capabilities from the ground-up, developing foundational guidelines and processes for all future product design work at a pre-seed, fast-growing start-up
- Work with their engineering team to design the first version of their platform + ongoing versions
- Help plan and run customer feedback sessions, generating insights to convert into customer personas, journeys and other deliverables
- Develop knowledge on the carbon credit industry and customers to build a strong perspective on how to best serve them
- Managing work across multiple time-zones and cross-culture teams, as their engineering team is based in Bangladesh (mainly working EST hours)
