ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Brainspring is a full-service education consulting company that specializes in improving literacy skills. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Shipping Support position. The person in this Shipping Support role will be integral to the shipping team at Brainspring.

Strong warehouse organizational skills are required. The candidate must be detail-oriented, have a professional appearance, and have a friendly demeanor. Additionally, candidates must be able to lift and carry merchandise, maintain an orderly workplace, and follow safety procedures. This job requires someone who is a team player, responsible, and can work with minimal supervision.

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the shipping department.

Work Hours:

This is a full-time position requiring the candidate to work 35 to 40 hours per week.

Location:

The candidate will work out of Brainspring?s main office located in Troy, MI.

Ideal Employment Prerequisites:

• Strong, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Prior history with stock management

• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player

• Prior experience in a warehouse or inventory setting

General Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and transferring merchandise

• Organizing merchandise for shipment

• Preparing promotional packages

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
