Brady Enterprises, Inc Hiring for Credit Manager Job at East Weymouth, MA Full Time

We are currently seeking a full-time Credit Manager for our $100M+ consumer product manufacturing company. The Credit Manager will establish and maintain the company’s credit policy/procedures and administer all credit operations in a manner which facilitates the sale of product, stimulates cash flow, and safeguards company accounts receivable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the credit, collection and cash applications functions in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Investigate accounts for credit-worthiness through evaluations of financial statements, trade references, credit reports, etc.
• Establish credit limits/guidelines for all customers. Review and re-evaluate existing accounts for continued worthiness.
• Implement appropriate action to collect delinquent accounts, including communicating with sales representative for account, holding of shipments, etc., as required.
• Review doubtful accounts to determine if accounts are uncollectable and need to written off.
• Revise and update credit policy, in consultation with senior executives, as required.
• Ensure that all the food safety principals and legal requirements have been applied effectively.
• Perform all other duties assigned by your Manager/Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years related experience in a similar credit role, with emphasis on working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Good sense of judgment.
• Ability to be assertive when necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
