Bradken Hiring for Cost Accounting Lead – Project Elevate Job at Newcastle Full Time

The Cost Accounting Lead will be a key part of the newly created Project Elevate team and will be responsible for the overall analysis, design, configuration and documentation of the Epicor ERP costing system in relation to its implementation across the Bradken business.

This position will have an opportunity for collaboration with a variety of stakeholders and project team members to document business requirements, ensuring the costing system is configured using a consistent methodology that meets the needs of the Bradken business within the approved cost and timeline.

The Cost Accounting Lead will also contribute to the management of user acceptance testing and end-user training, as well as actively participate in managing change throughout the project to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user-friendliness of system developments.

Using your previous knowledge and understanding of cost accounting fundamentals and International Financial Reporting Standards, you can have a significant impact on the success of the current ERP project by identifying risks and issues that require escalation.

The Cost Accounting Lead will work closely with our internal stakeholders and act as the conduit between the broader Finance Team and Project team to ensure the strategic objectives of the business are addressed during the development of the ERP system

Key Criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business, or another related field.
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent understanding of Cost Accounting fundamentals, particularly Standard Costing and its application within a manufacturing environment.

This role is based in Newcastle or Brisbane.
