TEACHING ASSISTANT : Part Time or Full Time considered

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate and professional Teaching Assistant to join our team at Crowthorne C of E Primary School.

Our Teaching Assistants work across the school to ensure that all children receive the support they need – whether this be to access learning, or to extend their learning and challenge them to be the best that they can be. Our TAs also provide valued support for our Teachers, working as a team to provide the best opportunities, experiences and working environment for everyone.

The successful candidate will need to:

• Be a hard-working individual, prepared to support every child to be the best they can be
• Have a positive, flexible approach and attitude
• Be confident to work in classes across the school (Experience in Year 6 would be an advantage)
• Be able to use a variety of strategies to engage, support and motivate children in their learning
• Be confident to work in different year groups across the school
• Be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life
• Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed – Our School Ambassadors regularly conduct guided tours. You will find our children polite, hard-working and well-behaved. They enjoy their learning and are, understandably, very proud of their school.

This position would be ideal form someone considering teacher training.

Usual day: 8.45am – 3.15pm (includes half an hour for your break)

BGJ 3: FTE £18,887 (Based on 24hrs pw : £10,173)

Hourly Rate : £9.79 + LW

Pre–employment medical check
