BPS Bioscience Hiring for Inside Sales Representative at San Diego, CA Full Time

Job Overview

The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist with developing price quotes for customers in the biotech, pharmaceutical and academic institute.
• Interact with customers and strategic buyers to follow-through and complete the sales process.
• Assist with negotiations and bringing customers on-board
• Establish and cultivate customer relationship to identify and develop new sales opportunities
• Promote BPS products and services at exhibits and industry tradeshows
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BS in biochemistry, cell biology, or molecular biology required.
• At least 1-2 years of demonstrated successful experience in bioreagent sales within academic institute and pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and MS project; proficient in data analysis with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel; comfortable with computers and willing to learn new programs as necessary for job performance; effective compositional skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills; ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; superb time management
• Ability to learn and communicate technical and scientific product-related information
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
