Strengthen and adapt BPP’s talent attraction approach

We are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner to help strengthen and adapt BPP’s talent attraction approach. Your primary focus will be the direct sourcing of candidates and talent pooling in key areas, helping to reduce our reliance on recruitment agencies. Working closely with our hiring managers, you will implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure BPP recruits the strongest talent to meet its business goals. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of BPP’s overall Employee Value Proposition and ensure BPP’s ED&I strategy is at the centre of our recruitment and selection processes.

• Partnering with hiring managers to understand their goals and hiring needs
• Conducting competitor analyses to ensure BPP’s EVP remains competitive in the market
• Reviewing job descriptions and advert wording to ensure these are fit-for-purpose and effectively attracting the right talent
• Working with hiring managers to determine the most suitable job boards and assessment tools for their roles
• Educating hiring managers on talent attraction techniques and building their capability to influence talent attraction and retention
• Using a range of social media channels to run advertising campaigns, attract candidates and start to build relationships to form talent pipelines for key roles
• Maximising BPP’s use of the LinkedIn Recruiter tool
• Organising and facilitating BPP careers events
• Proactively identifying and approaching passive and active job candidates
• Reducing BPP’s reliance on recruitment agencies
• Contributing to the enhancement of BPP’s careers site
• Contributing to BPP’s ED&I strategy within the recruitment and selection process

What we’re looking for

• Significant experience in a recruitment role (in-house or agency)
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
• Experience of drafting job descriptions and adverts and reviewing their effectiveness
• Strong knowledge of candidate sourcing tools and methods, with experience of utilising a range of different sourcing channels to attract candidates
• Strong experience of using LinkedIn Recruiter tool
• Experience of running advertising campaigns and careers events
• Experience in headhunting candidates, who may already be working
• Strong knowledge of candidate selection tools and methods
• Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Good knowledge and understanding of ED&I and how to ensure diversity throughout the recruitment and selection process
• Good understanding of employer branding strategies with prior experience of enhancing an EVP
• Excellent networking skills
• Strong communication skills
