The DE&I Manager (Talent Acquisition & Matching) is a new position within our DE&I team. The role holder will be responsible for building a strategy and partnering with the hiring team to ensure bp is constantly considering meaningful DE&I initiatives and interventions across its global hiring portfolio. The person who fills this role will quickly build strong relationships across the hiring eco-system, using data and insight as a key lever to drive alternative and creative products and ways of working. All in support of making bp an even more inclusive place to work and build mechanisms to deliver against our bp wide aspirations and goals. Key Accountabilities and Outcomes:
Establishing a strong brand as a DE&I and hiring expert across a large and matrixed hiring eco-system
Being a key advisor, ally, partner and coach to bp’s hiring teams – using your expert knowledge of the global DE&I landscape
Reviewing, evolving and using data led insight to evidence where change or continued focus is required in relation to our exciting DE&I plan
Get involved in designing and piloting programs to that improve our metrics
Drive compliance to proven improvements by acting as DEI subject matter expert and trusted consultant with key senior leaders and stakeholders
Support in reviewing key DE&I supplier and network partnerships, advising of potential value to bp and recommending suppliers changes if needed
Being the champion of DE&I hiring reporting content and metrics, ensuring dashboards are constantly representing reality and increasingly setup to partner with stakeholders
Skills & experience required
Talent acquisition leadership experience
Experience of managing complex and enduring projects
Experience of delivering cross functional output in a matrix & complex corporate environment
A sound knowledge of external best practice, suppliers, networks – bringing the outside in
Able to manage, analyse and communicating data led insight to leadership stakeholders
Experience of a DE&I related work – developing and executing DE&I strategies company wide
The ability to, and experience of, coaching HR leaders
A deep self-awareness
Empathy
The ability to listen really – hearing the message beyond the words
Great storytelling ability
