The Castrol ANZ Supply Chain Finance Manager role is part of the Castrol ANZ GSC (Global Supply Chain) leadership team with direct exposure to the Asia Pacific Executive Leadership Team. This is a leadership role responsible for the Planning, Performance Insight and Reporting of Castrol ANZ Supply Chain operations to enable informed decision-making and support optimisation of business performance. The role partners directly with the Castrol ANZ Supply Chain Manager and wider teams (Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, Logistics and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). This role reports to Castrol ANZ Senior Finance Manager and does not have a direct report, but it requires a strong ability to lead effectively in a matrix management

Key accountabilities –

• Accountable and responsible for all Management Reporting and Financial MI requirements of the business.
• Accountable and responsible for the delivery of all Annual Planning and Rolling Forecasts for the business including the process to identify and capture vulnerabilities and opportunities against Plan/forecasts.
• Leads and facilitates Monthly Performance Review meeting with Senior and Executive Leadership teams (high visibility role).
• Partners with stakeholders to perform in-depth financial analysis of business performance (cost of products, manufacturing costs, storage and handling costs, logistics costs, operational costs, inventory management and working capital) and provide practical insights to drive interventions to address issues or leverage opportunities.
• Apply deep understanding of how the business operates including the business processes, as well as an understanding of the factors that impact the performance of the business to form actionable insights and drive improved business performance.
• Acts as a finance single point of accountability for the business, working with ARC (Accounting, Reporting and Control) and GBS (Global Business Services) to help strengthen balance sheet, drive a robust control environment, and deliver efficient and effective internal and external reporting.
• Leads the financial and investment decision making process, ensuring that there is a robust commercial evaluation process, includes the compiling of, review and monitoring of Investment Financial Memorandum and Authority to Negotiate as required.

About you:
As the successful candidate you will ideally have –

• Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalents
• Experience in large multinational company or large complex matrix organisation
• Experience in sophisticated Manufacturing/Supply Chain business – Ideally 10 years exp
• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis Manager role
• Experience in Finance Business Partners role
• Business partnering approach and experience
• Proven advanced stakeholder management, effective leadership in matrix organisation, and communication skills
