Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua Hiring for Director of STEAM Programming Job at Nashua, NH Full Time

Our Club is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working leader who is passionate about impacting the lives of youth, to serve as the Director of STEAM Programming. The Director of STEAM Programming is primarily responsible for helping develop and implement a comprehensive year-round educational program that meets the varying educational needs of our members from 7th-12th grade. The Director of STEAM Programming must align with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) standards on providing an enriching experience as well as implementing evidence-based learning opportunities for club members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and assure an Outcome-Driven Club Experience for youth and families.

• Ensure educational program activities are organized and aligned with BGCA & Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua standards

• Manage all aspects of the education room and computer lab including outcomes, supervision, staffing and monitoring as well as equipment upkeep.

• Facilitate club program reporting and evaluations to be provided to internal and external parties in a timely manner.

• Oversee all Teen Center STEAM programs working with local business partners and volunteers to provide enriching activities and opportunities to kids who might not have access.

• Assist in general operation of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, including providing customer service to parents, members, volunteers, and community members as needed.

• Develop positive relationships with school administrators and parents for all programs.

• Facilitate Power Hour homework help daily for afterschool program, incentivize members to participate in educational programs

• Provide a fun and inclusive environment for members, staff and volunteers

• Weekly staff & supervisor meetings

Skill/ Knowledge Required

• Commitment to the organization’s mission to enable all young people – especially those who need us most – to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

• At least 1 year of experience working with school-age children and teenage children.

• Strong verbal and oral communication skills.

• Team player, willing and able to communicate effectively and work together

• Preference is given to individuals at least 21 years old who are willing and able to drive our 15-passenger van.

• Warm, nurturing, and flexible individual who genuinely enjoys working with children and families from various backgrounds.

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Calendar as form of communication

Hours:

School Year: M-F 11:00 AM- 8:00 PM

School Vacations, Summer Programming & Select Holidays: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay: $40,000.00 – $43,000.00 per year
