PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Directs/manages overall daily operations of the designated Clubhouse with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, program facility management, community relations and teen department membership administration.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Leadership
1. Establish Club programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
2. Ensure a healthy and safe environment, including maintenance of facilities, equipment and supplies.
Club Management
1. Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the teen departments annual budget, ensuring that club-wide programs and activities are operated within established budgetary guidelines.
2. Recruit, select and manage assigned staff, ensuring productive and effective performance. Provide ongoing feedback and regular appraisal; identify and support professional development opportunities.
3. Oversee proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements and any problems/issues.
4. Oversee staffing alignment and daily Club schedule in the teen program.
5. Maintain and monitor grant implementation and spending of funds in the teen program.
Marketing and Communications
1. Increase visibility of teen programs to the community (members, parents, Board of Directors, schools, staff, etc.).
Partnership Development
1. Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Purchase or approve purchase of supplies and equipment.
2. Work with staff on special events to carry out programs in all departments.
3. Exercise authority in problems relating to members; utilize membership handbook policies.
4. Travel may be required.
5. Assume other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club professional staff to interpret and explain organizational mission, program objectives and standards, discuss issues, and provide/receive information. Has regular contact with members as needed to discipline, advise, and counsel.
External: Maintains contact with external community groups, schools, members’ parents and others to assist in resolving problems and to publicize the Club.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Pay: $38,000.00 – $44,000.00 per year
