Our team of technology finance professionals – with backgrounds in finance, banking, consulting, and engineering – acts as critical partners to organizations across the business, helping to inform, drive, and support important decisions in all functions. We deeply involved in analysis in key areas ranging from sales capacity to data center strategy modeling, and everything in between. Our growth potential in EMEA is huge, and we are looking for an experienced finance leader to partner with our General Manager in the region to help drive our growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The position offers a steep learning curve, a platform to inform significant decisions, significant exposure and accountability to Box’s leadership team, and the benefit of driving strategic projects. You will be the lead finance partner to the GM of our EMEA region, and will play a key role in contributing to our ability to grow and scale efficiently in the region. There will be a direct connection between your activities and the success of the business. Are you up for the challenge?

Provide strategic, financial, and operational support to our EMEA GM and facilitate connections between functions and geographies to ensure alignment

Partner closely with executive leaders in EMEA and in US-based headquarters to assess and balance resource allocations on a rolling basis in a data-driven, scalable manner

Be an authority on our go-to-market priorities, motions, and resources, analyzing and reporting on critical metrics like sales & marketing productivity, pipeline creation and win rates, etc.

Lead the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for the region

Drive ad-hoc analyses and business cases to influence investment decisions and business strategy

Build complex models and scenario analysis to help us evaluate the impact of decisions on our long-range financial plans

Support the month-end-close process, collaborating closely with our corporate finance and accounting teams

WHO YOU ARE

You have 5+ years of experience with time spent in finance, management / go-to-market consulting, or investment banking, or operational go-to-market experience within a top technology company

Fast-paced, dynamic team environments are your jam

You are a poised communicator and know when to voice your point of view

You take pride in your analytical and financial modeling skills and enjoy applying them to tackle highly complex business problems – and you can tell the story behind the data through relevant insights and conclusions

You can navigate networks of systems and people to find the information you need and influence key strategic decisions

You’re a structured thinker and have a command of “the details,” but don’t get lost in them

You are comfortable driving complex projects with multiple constituents from end-to-end

You are super effective at prioritizing multiple work streams and stakeholders
