Scope of Duties and Responsibilties :
Assist Team Lead to plan and coordinate schedule changes and operational delays.
Plan and execute the daily Terminal Facility allocation in accordance with Winnipeg Richardson International Airport Common Use Plan of Operations and its related processes and procedures.
Assign baggage carousels and posting of assignment on the Baggage Information Display System (BIDS).
Assign outbound baggage carousels to flights and check-in counters to the various carriers.
Ensure Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) accurately display flight details.
Manage expectations as a result of irregular operations according to Winnipeg Richardson International Airport guidelines.
Assist Team Lead and Airport Duty Manager to confirm airline schedules in advance to assist in resource planning.
Communicate with tenants, operational agencies and Winnipeg Richardson International Airport departments regarding facility allocation decisions that are as a result of irregular operations to ensure consistent service delivery.
Assist in emergency response when directed.
Dispatching resources as required and providing status updates based on established operating procedures.
Monitoring and interpreting multiple airport monitoring systems and reacting to information received based on established standard operating procedures.
Acting as a central point of contact for airport communications by monitoring multiple radio channels and phone lines; operating Maximo for the logging and updating of events; determining the appropriate responder(s) or resource to attend to an event.
Generating work orders as required, monitoring the event, recording event status, and performing follow up actions to determine the status of incomplete events and ing findings.
Maintaining status logs of equipment and events for publication.
Monitor access control systems and dispatch resources as required.
Monitor CCTV systems in support of access control systems and independently.
Acting as a central point of communication for all security incidents.
Coordinate maintenance of all security related systems (hardware and software).
Coordinate access for special events, construction, urgent maintenance, etc.
Monitor and assist in the coordination of operations within the terminal and airside such as swing operations, maintenance shutdowns, PSL displacements, construction, and baggage operations.
Assist employees with RAIC/keycard access issues.
Assessment of unattended items and dispatch of appropriate resources.
Knowledge expert in the functionality and operating of all security related and access control systems.
Essential Attributes :
Must possess a High School Diploma and valid Drivers License.
1 – 2 years experience in customer service and airline/airport operations or logistics.
Proven skills in providing customer service, strong organizational and communication skills.
Demostrated problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
Enthusiastic and demonstrates initiative when attempting to avoid conflict or inconvenience to tenants and public.
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office. (Outlook,Excel, Word) ability to learn and use complex software programs.
Ability to meet enhanced government security clearance requirements to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada security clearance.
Strong communication skills (oral, written and listening) and demonstrated decision making skills in a dynamic environment.
Ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail while under pressure.
Ability to apply conflict resolution techniques during difficult operational or customer situations.
