Bourne Leisure Hiring for Finance Assistant, CAPEX Job at Hemel Hempstead, England Full Time

We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to support our Capex team within the Central Finance function. This is a great opportunity to take your first step on the career ladder, we would support you to gain your accounting qualifications.

You will provide key support to the Capex team, including managing Capex spend and maintaining a database for all 3 brands Group functions.

What you will be doing:
**Processing digital capital expenditure requisitions approvals, updating database, systems and communicating to stakeholders.

**Weekly and ad hoc reporting of Capex spend for all Brands and Group, giving clear visibility around Capex budgets or Targets / spend / commitment / forecast / balance to go.

**Liaising with Brand & Group teams to ensure Capex budget approvals and anticipated spends are accurate and up to date. And highlighting errors or overspends.

**Reconciliations of Balance Sheet Accounts and other ad hoc reconciliations

**Ad hoc project work

What we’d like you to bring:
**Previous experience in a Finance team

**Good analytical, reconciliation and problem solving skills

**Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

**Excellent stakeholder management skills

**Ability to manage workflows, identify errors, analyse and process reports
