We’re looking for someone to join our to team to lead the growth of our new Haven Digital team. The team, which has grown over the past 18 month is focused on delivering magic moments for our guests, owners and team as they use our website to book holidays and our apps as they experience their time with us at one of our parks. Digital enables so many of our interactions, for which reason, we expect to double the size of this team over the next 12 months.
We have created a highly diverse team, working across multiple countries and valuing inclusivity, we’re looking for someone to further build on this start.
Whilst we are still in the forming stage, we have a culture that is Product led and have set ourselves up in Tribes that follow the user journey, with squads of engineers, product managers and designers that are autonomous in delivery of their goals. We have a modern approach to engineering, with engineers shipping their own code to AWS through our devops processs. We use OKRs to help us align and reach outside our comfort zone.
If you have a passion for digital, have experience in building teams in tough competitive markets and have previously taken a multi channel sourcing approach, we’d love to speak with you.
The purpose of the role is to:
**Sit within the Digital function day to day, being part of our culture and ways of working, in order that you can reflect this with candidates in the recruitment process
**Create the roadmap to reach our aggressive recruitment goals
**Work alongside hiring managers, extracting the unique insights and support you require to deliver compelling candidates
**See us through the eyes of the candidate, providing actionable guidance as to changes and adjustments we can make
**Identify, organise and attend recruitment and outreach events
**Own the full cycle recruiting process including sourcing, interviewing and closing candidates
To be successful you will have:
**Ability to take initiative to solve problems and be rewarded with high degrees of autonomy
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, effective working relationships
**A proven track record of recruiting engineers, product managers and/or other related capabilities for internet first businesses
**Strong tech industry knowledge
**Able to work at pace and manage a high number of vacancies
**Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment of vacancies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation
**Strong awareness of the external employment landscape and relevant trends in Talent Acquisition
**Demonstrable track record in direct sourcing of candidates through a variety of channels, especially headhunting
