Bourne Leisure Hiring for Assistant Accountant – Entry Level Finance Role Job at Hemel Hempstead, England Full Time

We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to support our Property and Maintenance Facilities function. This is a great opportunity to take your first step on the career ladder, we would support you to gain your accounting qualifications.

You will provide key support to the Control team, tracking both Capex and the central repairs budget and assist in the prepayment capital process, raising purchase orders, tracking costs and allocating to appropriate projects once projects go to build stage.

What you will be doing:
**Assist the Property Head of Department and Finance Manager with queries relating to Maintenance Capital and Central Repairs on Haven parks

**Provide reporting, analysis and insight, including weekly journals on re-charges out to appropriate cost centres

**Report and communicate variance on the Central Repairs budget and provide monthly reporting updates to the Facilities team

**Assist the internal audit / central functions to ensure robust controls are in place for both Capex and CER Compliance

What we’d like you to bring:
**Some Finance knowledge, from either a related degree or some experience in industry

**The ability to interpret large data and present in summary format

**A problem solving, can-do attitude

**Excellent relationship-building skills – you will be working with colleagues across the business
