Boswell Oil is a dynamic, growth-oriented distributor of branded lubricants and unbranded fuels to wholesale, retail, and commercial end-user markets throughout Georiga and its neighboring states. We are currently seeking a Lubricants Dispatcher for our Athens location to provide best-in-class customer service, planning, coordinating, and execution. This role will ensure that lubricant deliveries to customers are planned and scheduled in the most optimal and efficient method.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and dispatch sales orders.
- Efficiently and effectively route all lubricant trucks assigned to Boswell Oil’s North Georgia facilities (Athens, Dallas, and Thomson).
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse personnel, sales representatives, inventory staff, managers, dispatchers, and other Boswell Oil team members to accomplish company objectives.
- Operate dispatch software, Bizspeed, and maintain its accuracy for all North Georgia facilities.
- Create MSA sales orders in ERP system (DM2/Sage100) as orders are received.
- Monitor customer tanks daily and create sales orders based on tank readings.
- Schedule preventative vehicle maintenance and address any needed vehicle repairs.
- Maintain the accuracy of vehicle information and driver hours in telematics software (Samsara).
- Resolve any delays or interruptions related to lubricant operations.
- Participate in regular meetings, offer status updates, and assist in furthering operation goals.
- Prioritize the dispatching of emergency orders as needed.
Experience & Education
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to multi- task, work in a fast- paced environment, and adhere to a varied daily workflow.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written communication.
Understanding of basic cartography and GPS coordinates.
Adaptable to a rapid and ever-growing company structure.
Must maintain a positive attitude and a team- oriented mindset in a stressful role.
