ABOUT THE ROLE

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in supporting the growth strategy of the organisation in attracting top talent. This is a newly created role which will work side by side with a range of different stakeholders including hiring managers, local and regional Centre of Excellence teams, the ANZ Human Resources team and preferred suppliers. This role will be focused on proactively supporting the recruitment efforts of the organisation in hiring top talent.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Partner, we are looking for an individual who has previous experience in recruiting a range of diverse and complex roles, preferably within the medical device or health industry. They will have had experience with proactive strategies that support pipelining successfully with the ability to fill vacancies with the right talent efficiently, whilst leveraging our brand and play a strategic partner role.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

This role will be responsible for the following:

End to End Recruitment

• Support hiring managers on the end to end hiring process:
  • Partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand the success profile and recruitment strategy for each role
  • Partnering with HR Business Partner on budget and Total Rewards Specialist on relevant compensation data
  • Creating a candidate pack and ensuring all our job advertisements are aligned with our EVP
  • Engaging third party assistance where required
  • Ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices are integrated throughout recruitment process
  • Coordinating relevant assessments and or case studies with candidates as necessary
  • Coordinating interviews with candidates and key stakeholders
  • Completing interviews at relevant stages and debriefing on outcome with key stakeholders
  • Conducting reference checks and background checks
  • Partnering with HRBP & HR Operations Specialist to execute offer of employment for successful candidate
  • Supporting the execution of the offer where required
  • Systematically coordinating the transfer of information throughout the recruitment process ensuring clear roles and responsibilities for all key stakeholders
  • Embed and integrate recruitment standards across all hiring including internal and external job vacancies

Talent Acquisition Excellence

• Proactively network and pipeline talent in the marketplace
• Ongoing management of preferred supplier agreement, ensuring effective and successful agency partnerships
• Support Talent Acquisition training for all Boston Scientific hiring managers
• Identify opportunities to enhance current Boston Scientific recruitment process
• Increase brand presence and leverage brand in the marketplace
• Understand technology enhancements to support the acquisition of top talent
• Understand industry trends and market information to enhance current recruitment processes
• Manage and report on Talent Acquisition analytics

Project Opportunities

• Identify key universities to partner with that support BSC longer term strategies
• Support implementation of a Boston Scientific graduate program and opportunities for interns
• Support the role out of enhanced Onboarding technology and program
• Support relevant regional and local Talent Acquisition projects

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS

• Previous talent acquisition experience 3+ years (preferably in medical device or health industry)
• Experience managing end to end recruitment, a diverse range of portfolios and a number of key stakeholders
• Ability to understand customer needs and divisional requirements
• Understanding of assessment models and talent attraction technologies
• Experience managing third party suppliers
• Knowledge of Recruitment Management Systems
• Experience within a global organisation or matrix environment is desirable
• Degree qualified in Human Resources Management, or similar is desirable
