WHAT YOU’LL DO

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will support the complete life cycle of the New Jersey office’s consulting staff recruiting efforts. This includes event planning and execution, candidate pipeline development, marketing and branding related activities, planning and participating in the interview process, candidate communication and relationship building, and all conversion activities. You will work with the New Jersey Recruiting Managing Director and Partner (RP), New Jersey Recruiting Director (RD), recruiting directors at BCG core schools, and regional recruiting teams to contribute to and execute the annual recruiting pipeline across OneBCG, entry-level core business consulting (Associates and Consultants) from both campus and experienced hire pools, as well as support Experienced Hire, Digital, and Analytics recruiting efforts for the New Jersey office.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Help coordinate the local recruiting process for the New Jersey office across OneBCG
• Cultivate relationships with candidates, following up with all inquiries while developing BCG presence and positive experiences
• Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and principles are incorporated throughout the steps in the hiring process, from pipeline development to conversion; recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline
• Collect and analyze information and data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitor and analyze the competitive environment
• Manage logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion, including conversion/welcome weekends and the summer intern program
• Co-own interview schedules throughout the year (interviewer swaps, candidate communication, email logistics)
• Team with the broader New Jersey Talent Acquisition team on the New Jersey office recruiting process across OneBCG
• Participate in management of New Jersey’s recruiting cadre commitments and performance tracking processes (staff NAMR events and interviews with the right mix of consulting staff, ensure commitments are upheld, manage swap process, etc.)
• Drive conversion activities for offerees (ideation, planning, execution)
• Participate in management of New Jersey Associate and Consultant summer internship programs, including coordination and execution of orientation, case staffing, performance feedback, affiliation events, and conversion efforts
• Adhere to annual budget for New Jersey office recruiting and internship activities
• Ensure recruiting records, global database, and metrics are up to date and accurate
• Use the database and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, reports, interview and event invitations
• Lead and execute strategic projects as needed

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required; campus recruiting experience a plus
• Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization
• Flexibility and some travel required, particularly around peak recruiting season and planning weeks; Attendance at key evening and weekend events required

YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be working with a closely knit team of Talent Acquisition members in the New Jersey Office reporting into the New Jersey Talent Acquisition Manager. You’ll work with the other Talent Acquisition team members to back each other up and help each other out when things get extra busy or when someone is out of the office. The team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. Your manager will be a great resource for support and troubleshooting and will provide developmental guidance and support as your grow your career at BCG. You’ll work closely with your local office team as well as various Talent Acquisition teams across North America.
