Boston Consulting Group Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist – CBS, Wharton, Yale SOM at New Jersey Full Time

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist for CBS, Wharton, and Yale SOM, you will support the complete life cycle of recruiting efforts at these schools. This includes event planning and execution, marketing and branding related activities, planning and execution support of the interview process, candidate communication, campus team communication and relationship building and conversion support. You will work closely with school Specialists, On-Campus Career Services teams, NAMR office Talent Acquisition teams and other North America Core MBA Talent Acquisition specialists and team members.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• Managing logistics (planning, correspondence, execution) of the recruiting process from marketing and events planning, through screening, interviewing and conversion
• Planning and executing marketing events consistent with school plans, prioritizing multiple projects across three schools
• Supporting candidate relationship building: following up on all candidate inquiries, creating positive BCG recruiting experiences by serving as a friendly, welcoming face to BCG
• Cultivating relationships with campus career services and campus clubs and developing BCG’s brand on campus
• Collecting and analyzing information and evaluating the effectiveness of recruiting activities, providing valuable input aimed at continuously improving our recruiting efforts; monitoring and analyzing the competitive environment
• Driving conversion activities for offerees
• Developing the school recruiting plans; including season analyses, qualitative focus groups, specialist and candidate surveys, etc
• Using applicant tracking systems and other tools to manage data and generate correspondence, s, interview prep and event invitations
• Leading and executing strategic projects as needed

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-4 years of recruiting, HR, or relevant experience required
• High customer service and relationship orientation – strong interpersonal and communication skills, highly responsive, want to deliver great results at all times, able to develop effective working relationships with colleagues across the organization and candidates
• Excellent time and project management skills. You have clear systems and composure to deal with multiple tasks at once, with a great attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure.
• Organizational skills to assist with all the behind-the-scenes magic while providing creative solutions, driving our high-level customer service, and positively impacting our recruiting efforts
• A strong intellectual curiosity. You’re a creative thinker, interested in the bigger picture, always looking to solve problems
• Self-motivation and trustworthiness. You take initiative and are able to work independently, exercising judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information
• Ability to work overtime during peak recruiting periods
• Strong computer and database skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (preferred), and PowerPoint

YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll be working with the close knit campus team, ing into the Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist for CBS, Wharton, and Yale SOM. You’ll be supporting Full Time and Summer Consultant recruiting processes. At times, you’ll work with the other Talent Acquisition team members on the North American team and Philadelphia, New Jersey, or New York office. The team is very collaborative and enjoys learning and mentoring each other. Your manager will be a great resource for support and trouble-shooting, and will provide developmental guidance and support as your grow your career at BCG. You’ll work closely with your local office team as well as various Talent Acquisition teams across North America to learn the day to day technical elements of the role.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• In New York City the base salary is between $79,000 – $97,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level

• In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography

• Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%

• 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
