As the North America Regional (NAMR) Talent Acquisition Co-op, you will be a key contributor on our Recruiting team focused on sourcing and recruiting high quality Business Services staff to offices and roles across the US and Canada. Your support in keeping our processes organized, flawless and dynamic will help us to continue to drive a best in class candidate experience.
A typical day for you may be a combination of:
Spearheading scheduling communications, troubleshooting potential calendar conflicts, and determining location logistics
Supporting the recruiting process through greeting candidates, driving next steps, initiating background checks and new hire set-up, compiling & sharing resumes, drafting offer letters/packages, and ultimately, creating a flawless candidate experience
Updating statuses and communicating with candidates in our applicant tracking system
Monitoring and tracking job postings on our database and LinkedIn
Engaging in relevant meetings and debriefs to understand important decision-making
Conducting weekly reports and other ad-hoc reports as necessary
Connecting with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations
Working on ad-hoc projects (talent sourcing, recruiting, and talent research)
Curious about something? A portion of your day may also be devoted to researching that topic or learning a new skill through LAB (Learning at BCG).
Confidence. You have the inside scoop, so we ask that you also have a well-developed sense of discretion and confidentiality.
Communication. You are the main line of contact between candidates and teams, so you are also an excellent interpersonal communicator.
Organization. You’ll have busy days handling high volumes of information so expect to be organized, detail-oriented, and great at time management. You’ll have a great team, so you have the ability to work both in a team and independently.
Tech Savvy. You’ll be working with computer programs and our software, so computer proficiency is required (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Must meet the co-op program eligibility requirements of the current college/university’s academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the co-op program
Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (January – July)
Must be authorized to work in the United States
The North America (NAMR) BST Talent Acquisition Team manages recruiting within the North American region for our Business Services/ non-consulting track roles. While the position is based in Boston, he/she will also be assisting with roles located across North America and partnering with teammates located in Atlanta, New York, and locally in Boston.
