As the North America MBA Talent Acquisition Director, you will lead and drive BCG’s comprehensive strategy to identify, attract, engage and hire MBA talent across our consulting, expert, and digital job families. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will develop innovative programs, partnerships and tactics to support BCG’s MBA hiring aspirations and attract top talent. You will work with senior Talent Acquisition leaders to identify, implement, and activate the strategy.
In this role you will
Identify, prioritize and drive opportunities to innovate, improve, and standardize at each step of the MBA recruiting journey – from marketing and outreach to programs to screening and interviewing to conversion
Lead and collaborate with senior talent acquisition leaders to identify and engage top talent, especially from underrepresented groups, throughout the candidate journey, across all major consulting and digital job families
Innovate, evolve, and own BCG’s suite of programs to identify and build talent communities on MBA campuses
Collaborate with talent acquisition marketing colleagues to develop creative ways to communicate BCG’s distinctive employer value proposition to the highly competed MBA talent communities
Engage and coach key MBA office Recruiting Directors to help lead, drive, and support the Talent Acquisition agenda
Lead and contribute to special projects and work groups to drive BCG’s Talent aspirations
Developing a comprehensive strategy: Utilizing deep understanding of target talent segments, and a strong foundation in talent acquisition, to identify the areas of greatest opportunity and set a roadmap to meet future growth aspirations
Monitoring the competitive environment; innovating and developing creative ideas to strengthen BCG’s competitive position as the employer of choice for top talent
Translating a Talent Acquisition strategy and vision into action and impact; Leading the overall recruiting process and logistics for key MBA programs; collaborating closely with campus and office hiring teams to plan and execute recruiting events and high priority candidate engagement processes
Engaging senior leaders and stakeholders across BCG, with skills in effective communication, persuasion and influence; working collaboratively with colleagues in a highly supportive and non-hierarchical environment; modelling inclusive leadership and allyship in action and communication
Integrating the tenants of diversity and inclusion into all efforts
Leading, coaching, managing and developing the MBA campus team
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree a plus
8+ years of relevant work experience
Functional expertise in Talent Acquisition, including experience in leading large processes, programs or teams
Deep expertise and demonstrated impact in Talent Acquisition
Demonstrated ability to innovate and lead change initiatives
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to balance qualitative and big picture impact alongside quantitative analysis
Strong organizational and process management skills; comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment
Experience engaging and partnering with senior executives; comfort engaging with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization
Outstanding written and verbal communications, influence and persuasion
Experience leading, coaching and developing team members
Proficiency with Windows, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with collaborative tools such as Slack and Trello a plus
Experience with DEI best practices and demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness
You will report directly to the Consultant Campus Talent Acquisition Director, working closely with the Consulting and Digital Talent Acquisition Senior Director and Managing Director & Partner for Talent. You will collaborate with the TA leaders of Digital, Associate, ADC, Operations, Analytics, Diversity, and Marketing to drive BCG’s overall Talent Acquisition agenda and operations. You will manage the team of MBA Campus Talent Acquisition professionals.
