Boston Consulting Group Hiring for IT Architect II at Boston, Massachusetts Full Time

You will act as the lead platform architect for our ServiceNow environment and will define, document, and teach architecture and design guidelines to be followed for all development activities across the platform. You will provide guidance and mentorship to solution architects, developers, and administrators across our ServiceNow squads. You will be embedded in an agile squad that is responsible for core platform functionality, upgrades, new features, and expanding our footprint to provide solutions outside of ITSM/ITBM. You will work closely with our other squads proving ITSM, ITBM, and request management applications. You will work with teammates and stakeholders located around the world to deliver value to our users. You will work on stories involving scripting, configuration, and integration across a wide range of ServiceNow applications and plugins. You will also help deploy new functionality using Workspace, Interaction Management, PA, and other emerging ServiceNow capabilities.

You will join our squad as a platform architect and work with our high performing team of engineers, administrators, and solution architects. You will participate in our agile scrum ceremonies and work closely with our product owner, scrum master, and analysts to prioritize your work to be delivered each sprint. Your main focus will be on architecture, but you will also contribute to development, configuration, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and support activities

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Essential: 6+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
• Essential: 4+ years architecting solutions on ServiceNow platform
• Essential: Subject matter expertise and hands-on experience in ITSM suite
• Preferred: Current ServiceNow certifications
• Preferred: hands-on experience in at least one cloud platform (Ex: AWS)
• Preferred: Proven ability to create meaningful and reusable reference architectures, defining best practices etc.
• Preferred: Proficiency with Javascript, business rules, client scripts, reporting, dashboards, access control, service catalog, system clones, and upgrades
• Preferred Experience with integrations preferred, e.g. REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and store apps

YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will join an existing Agile squad comprised of engineers, architects, analysts, a product owner, and scrum master.
You will report to the Solutions Architecture Chapter Lead and will work closely with the product owner, Service Now Chapter Lead, scrum master, other Service Now architects and engineers.
