Boston Consulting Group Hiring for Global HR Manager Job at London, England Full Time

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a newly created role working closely with the Global HR MDP and Global HR Director across a range of activities to ensure the successful delivery of our Global BST (Business Services Team) and HR Operations agendas. These will vary depending on the needs of the team and as such, you will need to enjoy the variety and variability inherent in the role.

A large focus of your work will be to lead or support projects emerging from the priorities of the Global HR MDP. These will span the breadth of HR and require partnering across and beyond the global HR teams.

Beyond project work you will be an integral part of this small core team who work together and support one another as needs require. This will vary on a week-by-week basis but may include reviewing or writing communications, creating or polishing decks, preparing for key leadership meetings, sourcing knowledge and information, following up with stakeholders, solving operational problems or providing cover or support to colleagues across the Global HR team.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

• You are an experienced and credible HR professional with a breadth of generalist experience. You understand the key issues and trends in HR and know where to go to learn more. You can get up to speed quickly to understand the context and stakeholders, and their wants and needs in any given situation
• You are pragmatic and business focused, able to integrate the needs of stakeholders and in particular the perspectives of HR teams and Line Managers across our business. You work to understand their challenges and priorities and ensure these are met and addressed
• You are an active listener and a strong communicator, with a track record of building relationships and partnering with a diverse global group of stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You can understand and value different perspectives and viewpoints
• You bring a strong problem-solving toolkit to assess and drive projects forwards, creating impact through rigorous project management
• You are self-motivated and resourceful, able to work independently to find and deliver the best outcome. At the same time, you are a true team player, willing to lean in, support your colleagues and do what is needed to get the job done.
• You thrive in a fast paced, intellectually energizing environment, you are adaptable, have a can-do attitude and are willing and able to turn your attention to the topic of the day whatever that might be

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years professional experience in People functions
• Proven track record of initiating, owning and driving projects to completion across different cultures
• Advanced skills in creating and delivering MS PowerPoint presentations to “tell the story”; MS Word; strong Excel; familiarity with Trello and Slack
• Experience working as (or closely with) Line Managers preferred
