What You’ll Do

The role of the Senior Digital Architect is to provide digital transformation (DX) consulting, architecture development, and solution design, with the goal of impacting client business operations and issue resolution. You will also undertake digital strategy development through detail-out and implementation of strategic initiatives as a trusted partner to client company management team

• Oversee planning and implementation of client digital strategy development, DX consulting, associated IT roadmap development, architecture design and solutions design
• Lead innovative plan conceptualization and running of workshops, combining the latest industry trends with BCG assets while building relationships with client company management teams (BCG asset examples: Data & Digital platform consulting, digital marketing consulting, Agile coaching, etc.)
• Assume responsibility for project execution, confirming project validity, risks and quality, and work with internal and external members to ensure the success of the project

You’re Good At

• Skilled in mapping out grand digital architecture design(Upstream plan conceptualization, application and data placement based on business requirements, system infrastructure design such asCloud utilization policy, etc.)
• Able to structurally organize business issues quickly during the digital project plan conceptualization (far upstream) process, and can plan outdigital measures
• Capable of moving projects forward during the project execution phase, while controlling risks and quality (Assistant to SI Project PM)
• Adept in logical thinking, with a high self-driven ability to think strategically and act autonomously. Possesses a high sensitivity to and a deepunderstanding of the latest technology
• A desire to expand your own field of activity to the fullest in the future without being limited by the confines of the consultant, SE role, etc

What You’ll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

• 3+ years experience in digital strategy development consulting, IT roadmap creation, and IT architecture development
• 5+ years experience as an IT specialist, including in system requirement definition through development
• Experience working as project leader, overseeing large-scale system upstream processes to system design, development and installation(Experience working in PMO for large-scale system development also welcome)
• Experience engaging in appropriate communication (documentation and presentation) in response to interests of clients (both IT and business side personnel)

Nice to Have

• Experience in new business creation and plan conceptualization utilizing digital tools at major companies in Japan as well as global and venture companies
• Experience leading projects utilizing architecture frameworks and modeling
• Experience in system design and installation using the latest technology (Data & AI, IoT, Cloud, Agile, digital marketing, etc.)
• Business-fluent written and spoken English language skills
• Native level of written and spoken Japanese language skills
