BOSS Engineering is looking for an IT support officer to join their IT team. Work alongside an experienced IT team providing support to our Inverell site in-person and remote staff via phone.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Assist the IT manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Investigate, test, document and resolve technical problems.
  • Administration of software and licensing.
  • Procurement of new products and services.
  • Manage inventory of IT products.
  • Set up and provide training on technology as part of onboarding new staff.
  • Liaise with external technicians.

Desirables:

  • Experience in IT support.
  • Relevant qualification in IT.
  • Experience with Office 365 and Windows Server Administration a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

This position can be filled by full time, part time (9-3) or a junior.
