Summary of Role:

Hello! Boss Agency is a small full service creative agency based in South Melbourne. We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Designer and Content Creator. The successful applicant will be able to use their creativity and technical expertise to create high-quality content that drives results.

We are looking for someone to help assist in creating and developing unique strategies for various marketing campaigns and / or take ownership in formulating in-house marketing campaigns that combine the powers of content creation, digital marketing & graphic design. This position involves creating and developing industry-specific engaging and informative content for various online platforms (e.g. websites, social media, blogs, emails, video etc.) as well as designing visually stunning social media content (organic posts and ads). As we are a full service creative agency, you must be multi-skilled and must be up-to-date on trends in the industry and digital space. Additionally, the applicant must have knowledge of branding and marketing best practices, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of SEO.

This role will also include some social media admin-related tasks like uploading and scheduling content.

Skills Needed:

• Graphic Design – Create visuals that communicate our brand identity, produce digital marketing materials and assist in the creation of social media content – graphics and video.

• Content Creation – Write copy for all digital and print marketing materials, create content for our website and blog, and come up with creative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns.

• Web & Digital – Optimise graphics and video content for social media platforms and manage the technical aspects of our website, such as content updates, page optimisation, and page speed.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate marketing campaigns that combine the powers of content creation, digital marketing & graphic design.

• Create high-quality content that is on-brand and appealing to our target market
• Ideate, capture and post visual content on social media platforms, (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest)
• Maintain our online presence, producing content for various platforms including our website, blogs, social media channels and email campaigns
• Ensure content is optimised for SEO
• Design content and visuals to brand’s aesthetic
• Assist with brainstorming and designing creative concepts
• Deliver creative ideas and visual assets to support our marketing objectives
• Gather customer insights to use in the creation of content
• Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction;
• Develop content for marketing campaigns

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or related field

• 1+ years of experience in graphic design, content creation and digital marketing
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML/CSS, and other web technologies.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly creative and able to think outside the box
• Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices
• Creative eye, with a passion for design
