Job Description

The Senior Sales Engineer will be required to manage all aspects of West Coast Customers (WCC) and/or Automotive Tier 1 customer accounts including account management, sales, sample coordination, and commercial topics coupled with new business acquisition for Bosch’s Semiconductors and Sensor Components group.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering
• 5+ years of experience working in a sales commercial role
• 5-10% travel required. Travel nationally/internationally as required for customer meetings, training, and customer support. May be required to spend 2 weeks in Germany for initial commercial and technical training
• Primary residence needs to be within commutable distance of the office for occasional on site meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales experience with semiconductors and/or MEMS devices with an understanding of the WCC electronics market.
• Experience in customer account management including negotiations and commercial functions.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a clear understanding of the business environment as a supplier to Automotive Tier 1’s and WCCs.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems including, navigation and mobility, safety systems including airbag systems, and/or braking systems.
• Proficiency to build relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders working both independently and as part of a global team
• Strong organizational skills to manage all aspects of customer sample orders during the development phase.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 – $150,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
