Our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. With capabilities covering end-to-end, the complete Development and New Product Introduction process we are managing and implementing global platform projects, tailored for our Original Equipment customers.

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Software Engineer Student to join our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department on a full time, maximum-term basis for 12 month commencing July 2022.

You will gain invaluable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:

• Contributing to the product development and design of new products, components or systems.
• Collaborating with different engineering disciplines to ensure requirements are met with a design, and are verified and validated.
• Performing defect analysis for problem localisation and co-ordinate defect investigations.
• Creating and executing verification test designs and test cases where required.

You will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines. You will work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Robotics).
• Demonstrate a good understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect management lifecycle.
• Demonstrate experience in understanding the architecture design.
• Possess excellent problem solving skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be legally entitled to work full time (38 hours per week) in Australia.
• Matlab knowledge, and an understanding of scripting languages and industry based tools (i.e. Git) is highly desirable.
