Bornea Dynamics Limited Hiring for Software Developer at St. Catharines, ON Full Time

Bornea Dynamics is an innovative government contractor, focused on delivering enhanced technology and solutions to defense, law enforcement, and security clients in Canada and for our allied partners. We provide R&D-as-a-Service, technical services, and managed training programs to our clients. We are currently hiring a software developer for our research and development department located in St. Catharines, Ontario. The software developer will be a critical member of our R&D team, and will work with cross-discipline teams of engineers to design, develop, and deliver the next generation of technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience

• 2 – 5 years experience developing software

• Experience working with networking tools and architectures

• Experience developing software for data management applications

• While not required, the ability to read/write/speak French is an asset
• Experience with C++, C#, PHP and/or Java

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and managers to create innovative technology, and implement it within a clients operating environment
• Perform multi-stakeholder involved testing, including hardware and environment specific testing
• Develop, debug, and publish software
• Work with engineering teams to develop software for embedded systems, and hardware heavy applications
• Participate in the planning effort for projects and proposals
• Participate in regular innovation sessions, where teams collaborate to solve issues across the organization
• Teach Co-op students and interest to improve their skills, and develop quality software
• Participate and provide input to client meetings and client deliverables
