Borealis Basecamp Hiring for Front Desk Night Auditor at Fairbanks, Alaska Full Time

Front Desk Night Auditor Duties: Greeting guests, checking them in and providing the guest on available activities at time of check in, and walking them to their rooms, answering the phone, scheduling tours, providing information about the area, communicating any maintenance issues to the maintenance department, providing 5 star guest service by communicating well with guests, being friendly, and fulfilling guest needs. You will be responsible to sound the Aurora Alarm once you see it. Deep cleaning the main lodge nightly, including the bathroom and the floors in the kitchen. Ensuring all dishes are washed and ready for next days services. Setting up breakfast service and monitoring breakfast station. Greeting guests in the morning and serving them mimosas as purchased. Clearing guest tables of breakfast dishes. Reviewing previous days’ reservations and closing out any balances due on open reservations. Any and all duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Experience with customer service, professional demeanor, computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, time management skills, organizational skills, and resourcefulness. High school diploma or GED preferred, as well as proficiency with a foreign language. Ability to lift, rotate and place 50lbs.  Ability to negotiate uneven terrain in low light.  Ability to think creatively and work independently is crucial for this position, as is a strong work ethic. For all positions at Borealis Basecamp, each and every team member must be willing to help team members out of their regular department and must be able to hold a conversation with a stranger for several minutes.
