What you’ll enable and achieve:

• Consults with business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy, organization development, rewards and culture
• Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group
• Identifies and shares root causes of human resources issued with relevant HR Centers of Excellence to shape global HR programs and policies
• Scans and benchmarks the marketplace to identify and leverage best practices and trends to influence the business and HR agenda
• Viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line leadership staff
• Selects, develops, and evaluates team members to ensure the efficient operation of the organization
• Develops and drives company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., rewards and recognition review, workforce planning, culture, and organizational change)
• Manages escalations and dispute resolutions through company programs and policies
• Role will create, lead and consult a broad People Strategy for function or region
• Takes direction from HRLT member
• Provides executive coaching and counsel to senior management team Influences decisions of client group management regarding organizational structure and identifies action plans for improving business unit performance
• Responsible for identifying the need for HR programs or strategies to support business and scientific objectives as well as strategic direction
• Works to resolve high risk employee relations issues, including performance management, employee grievances and appeals or disciplinary actions.
• Identifies any underlying issues and recommends solutions to client group leaders
• May be tasked with process improvements, such as emphasizing improvement of employee engagement, performance management and successful recruiting efforts
