ABOUT THE ROLE


As our Talent Acquisition Specialist you will work as part of our People team, partnering with the business to enable identifying, attracting, assessing and hiring great talent for a wide variety of roles across our boohoo family. Reporting into a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will support the recruitment for your Marketing and Studio by building strong relationships with hiring managers and delivering an agile process and unrivalled candidate experience.
What you will be doing:
  • Advising hiring managers to meet their recruitment needs, supporting in pinpointing the ideal candidate profiles and sharing knowledge on recruitment best practice
  • Use a range of sourcing tools and attraction strategies, with a variety of headhunting techniques, multiple advertising channels and personal candidate networks to source top talent across a wide range of business areas
  • Keeping candidate experience at the centre of how we recruit, ensuring a flawless candidate journey and being a positive brand ambassador
  • Supporting on the implementation of efficient hiring processes to reduce time to hire without compromising on quality
  • Owns effective screening of candidates, advising on interviewing approach and process, adding value as a capable interviewer
  • Communicating with stakeholders to build talent pipelines proactively
  • Able to market roles effectively through copywriting outstanding job advertisements to attract and engage the right candidates, understanding their motivations and drivers
  • Supporting hiring manages on the use of assessment and selection tools to ensure fair and diverse hiring decisions
  • Utilising the ATS system as a central hub and ensuring all activity is updated and captured in the system
  • Supporting on the creation of talent attraction content and events – measuring and analysing the success of any activity
  • Ensuring consistent and frequent communication with candidates, hiring managers and HR for each vacancy ensuring a smooth end to end hiring process and strong working relationships
  • Gathering market insights, and continuously learning more about the talent acquisition industry
  • Juggling multiple vacancies at differing levels and prioritising business critical roles ensuring clear and transparent communication with candidates and hiring managers alike
  • Efficiently coordinates interviews as required
  • Takes ownership of delivering meaningful candidate feedback
  • Understanding and tapping into candidates’ motivations ensuring offers are secured and accepted
  • Supporting the maintenance of data reporting and tracking metrics to share with various internal stakeholders
  • Communicating with our PSL recruitment agencies when needed, building strong relationships to
  • enable working collaboratively
  • Supporting the Talent Project Manager and Head of TA with wider projects
  • Supports the development of the Talent Acquisition Assistant

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE


  • Solid experience of in-house or agency recruitment with a genuine passion for delivering unrivalled candidate experiences. Knowledgeable about the retail/ecommerce industry would be ideal
  • Previous experience working with Marketing and Digital Marketing vacancies would be ideal or the enthusiasm to gain the knowledge in this business area
  • A sense of urgency and pace with a delivery focus
  • Skilled in a range of sourcing strategies across a variety of channels for example using a LinkedIn corporate licence
  • Has learning agility to ensure they continually develop themselves as a talent acquisition specialist
  • Keeps a finger on the pulse of candidate’s motivations and drivers within different talent markets
  • Is happy multi-tasking, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies
  • Is an excellent communicator, over communicating when needed – with candidates and hiring managers
  • Has a team player attitude, sharing and collaborating to reach the end goals
  • Expertise in building strong trusted relationships across multiple teams internally and externally
  • Has an understanding of multiple methods of talent attraction
  • Able to think ahead as well as manage the here and now and can organise/plan effectively
