Bonneville Academy Hiring for Long Term Substitute Teacher Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

Bonneville Academy is looking for substitute teachers to support our teachers for scheduled personal days. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work efficiently. Ultimately, a successful substitute teacher should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of a classroom when the regular classroom teacher is out.

Duties

• Plan, prepare, and deliver standards-based, student-centered instruction that engages all students and provides academic growth.
• Ensure student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level expectations.
• Differentiate instruction as needed to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students.
• Accurately track student attendance, student progress, behavioral concerns, and classroom events.
• Regularly and professionally communicate with parents/guardians and the community.
• Participate in regular professional development, the school’s professional learning community and staff meetings to improve instruction.
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with school leadership and other staff members to maximize effective instructional activities and build positive school culture.
• Meet professional obligations by honoring schedules, deadlines, and all professional responsibilities.
• Demonstrate the standards for effective practices of teachers.
• Any other assigned duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

● High School Diploma or GED.

● Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

● Teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
