Bonneville Academy is a K-8th STEM focused Charter School in Stansbury Park, UT. We pride ourselves with the integration of STEM in all subjects taught. We currently have a platinum STEM status through the Utah STEM Action Center. Bonneville Academy is hiring a 1st Grade elementary teacher to fill a vacancy for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. Those applying should feel comfortable teaching STEM subjects and teaching students to utilize technology and develop their foundational skills to prepare our students for the waves of tomorrow.

Requirements:

Minimum requirements: Must hold a license issued by any agency.

The license position area must be in Elementary Teacher.

The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.

Responsibilities:

A First Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment where students develop the skills to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, lifelong learners and productive citizens. Teachers will maintain a safe environment, establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues, motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge that will help them reach their potential and be prepared for higher levels of education and career readiness. They should be able to differentiate curriculum, provide specially designed instruction, and ensure compliance with state and federal law. Must also comply with FERPA regulations.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $47,000.00 per year
