Overview:

This position serves as a key point of contact for our customer. The role entails processing orders, checking inventory and prepares quotations. This person works with all company departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Acts as a key point of contact with customers, providing quick and accurate resolutions
• Relays information, instructions and pertinent data to and from the customer on a continual basis
• Manages and maintains customers data, per specific requirements (i.e. SAP, etc)
• Investigates and reconciles discrepancies immediately
• Works with the Shift Manager to ensure that material is available for scheduled Production
• Working with Accounts Receivable, investigates billing issues and resolves discrepancies as needed
• Learns and understands the options and components of each product series to offer the best solutions/ lead times on quotations to customers
• Processes customer PO into an internal sales order, understanding and following all of the customers requirements present on their purchase order
• Consistently work in a team to support co-workers in times of need
• Review processes for inefficiencies and make recommendations or take action for improvement
• Creates synergies with internal departments ultimately driving to customer feedback and satisfaction
• Commitment to communication and solutions excellence
• Keeps Customer Service Manager informed of workload and of any problems

• Supports the continuous improvement activities for the Customer Service department
• Further supports the Customer Service Manager with procedural updates and ensures adherence

Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP System a plus
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and basic Power Point
