Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Hiring for Clinical Educator Job at Bolton, England Full Time

The post holder will be primarily required to support the breadth of the Healthcare Worker experience, which may require cross boundary working, and contribute to the delivery of the new Quality Assurance Concordat. They will work in partnership with the Clinical & Professional teams to ensure the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments within Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted to support existing and Professional Development Programmes i.e. Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) and Preceptorship.

• Plan and coordinate training and development activities that support the healthcare support workforce to meet their career aspiration and deliver excellent care
• Support the assessment of a range of practice learning environments, determining interventions to sustain and enhance practice education; ensuring all service areas/ placement providers have an up to date action plan in place.
• Support and facilitate the development of clinical practice supervisors/ assessors, providing supervision and support structures in order to build education in practice capability, consistency and efficiency.
• Supporting the structuring and coordination of inter-professional learning activity across a service area(s) for TNA’s, Registered NA’s, Registered Nurses and other healthcare support staff.
• Developing and maintaining links with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) to support practice supervisors/ assessors, e.g. contributing to curriculum development, validation and review of the annual quality review of education contracts.
• Support the development of the healthcare support workforce enabling staff to reach their potential/ aspirations.
• Support the Clinical & Professional teams with the Professional Development offering for Nursing Associates and Newly Qualified nurses alongside supporting completion of the multi-professional preceptorship programme.
• Deputise as appropriate for manager in attending meetings and delivery of service needs.
