Boeing RIV Site Hiring for Financial Analyst Job at Brisbane Full Time

• Implement the project’s requirements and BDA Finance Initiatives.
• Partner with the Wedgetail BP&A Lead and Wedgetail Projects Snr. Financial Analyst to complete the following:
• Performs general analysis of resource forecasts and/or control account Estimates at Completion (EACs);
• Reconciles data from multiple sources and performs general support of:
• Actuals;
• Resource forecast;
• Material forecast;
• Budgets.
• Extracts data and complies routine performance and cost reports.
• Collect, organize and analyse information and data to identify and explain root causes to problems, initiate variance analyses.
• Define and communicate cost trends, analyse and quantify cost risks and opportunities.
• Develops and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variances analysis.
• Assist in developing business case using appropriate indices.Partner with the Financial Accounting Team to complete the following:
• Australian Accounting Compliance for the project
• Maintain robust and compliant controls & processes to ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with BDA established procedures and guidelines.
• Month end activities including journal preparation, posting, and control
• Reconciliation preparation and improvement
• Other ad hoc accounting activities and projects as required

Experience/Qualifications

• CA / CPA certified is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related degree
• Have experience with the following:
• Working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
• Compliance Focused
• Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Knowledge of complex accounting systems and reporting applications – Oracle
• Strong financial accounting experience
• Experience in forecasting, developing long range business plans and using the opportunity and risk system
• Experience in performing Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proficient with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets.
