The MSGS Capability is looking for a highly motivated entry level Electromagnetic Effects (EME) Engineer or Scientist to become part of our multi-disciplinary, multi-site team to contribute to cutting edge systems and exciting new technology development and verification across current and future Boeing platforms. You will need to be based in Brisbane to conduct this role because it is hands on and requires frequent attendance at our EME test facility in the suburb of Wacol.

As an EME Engineer or Scientist at BDA, you will:

• Contribute to the open, inclusive and innovative team culture that we have
• Plan and participate in verification activities in our A2LA accredited test facility.
• Contribute to EME related requirements definition and design
• Implement and verify requirements to produce effective and compliant solutions
• Participate in the development and expansion of BDA’s EME capability
• Receive mentorship from an experienced team of EME specialists

To thrive in this environment, you will be:

• Outcome focused and demonstrates a strong commitment to the Boeing values
• Team orientated and likes a challenge
• In possession of a tertiary degree qualification in an engineering, physics or related technical discipline
• Have a desire to gain experience with EMC laboratory test procedures and protocols for establishing test configurations, monitoring testing and reporting
• Experience in using design software would also be desirable
