Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Structures & Payload Design Engineer to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

A successful candidate will contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects dedicated to building and delivering of airplanes. You will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.

Profile description

Develops and maintains Aircraft Interior Products.

Responsible for detail, assembly and installation design (e.g., layout interfaces definition, spatial integration, functionality and producibility).

Supports analysis and design reviews.

Must present ability to apply general proficiency of mechanical engineering and scientific principles to develop, design, analyze, and validate solutions for Aircraft Interior Products.

Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support design and manufacturing of Aircraft Interior Products.

Supports development of Statements of Work.

Analyzes functional and physical inputs used in development of integrated design architecture.

Applies engineering principles and techniques to design and development of Aircraft Interiors.

Position Requirements:
Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

4+ years of work experience as design engineer

Existing rights to work in Ukraine

Preferred Qualifications:
Have general knowledge of aircraft passenger systems and airframe structure.

Understanding of stress analysis for design and material selection.

Knowledge of drafting and dimensioning fundamentals.

Knowledge of 3-D CAD software for development of details, assemblies, and installation documentation.

Candidates must be able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands. Works under general supervision.

This position requires strong communication, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.
